It’s the best-known trek in Patagonia and the one that fills Puerto Natales every summer. You sleep in refugios (mountain huts) or campsites inside the park—all of them by mandatory advance reservation—and walk six to nine hours a day carrying a pack. The climb to the Base Las Torres lookout at dawn is the postcard nearly everyone comes for.
It can be done west to east or the other way around; the direction changes where the hardest day falls. If you have fewer days, you can do just the climb to the Towers, a long day from the Central sector.
