The Chilconal hot springs, in the Cinco Hermanas Natural Monument area, are reached by boat from Puerto Chacabuco. The combination of thermal water and rain is, for many, the best memory of the trip.
Trips depend on conditions in the fjord and are called off in bad weather: ask the operator how long the boat ride takes and in which months it runs.
